Luxor City is the site of the famous city Thebes,  the city of a hundred  gates. It was the capital for Pharaohs long time back 1991 BC. Luxor is a city that has one third of the world's Heritage of old monuments.

Start your tour to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco Roman Kingdom.
Then move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty.
King Ramses II was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon.


Day 2

West Bank 
Valley of the king

Hatshepsut temple
Colossi of Memnon

you will visit the Valley Of The Kings, the magnificence of the grandeur of architecture which was used for burial, there are many kings buried in this valley.

The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and AmonhotepII.

Followed by a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut that known as El Dir El Bahari which was built by Queen Hatshepsut the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Then Continue your day Tour to The Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III

- Day One and Day Two Tours can be done on only One Day 

It’s a short Layover, you are time constrained so according to you the plan is going to be more or less adjusted. Staying more in one of the places for more pictures ,or more details about history, can minimize the time spent in the next sightseeing stop or even can make us forced to skip it so we can respect your time frame and your scheduled flight in the evening.

Or maybe you can just prefer having only either of East or West Bank in your Luxor Layover.
