Alexandria, fondly called the Bride of the Mediterranean, is one of Egypt’s most vibrant cities on the Mediterranean coast. Alexandria, named after Alexander the Great .Alexandria is second largest city in Egypt; it is a 2-3 hour drive from Cairo.


We are going to visit The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa (Seven Wonders of the middle ages) .It contains a large number of graves, including a mass grave of animal and human remains that refers to a mass execution carried out in Alexandria by a Roman Emperor in 215 AD. They display an unusual fusion of Greek, Roman, and Egyptian . We will visit Qaytbay Citadel where you can have a free walk on the Cornish. (Qaytbay built the fortress in the 14th century to defend Alexandria and he built it on The site of Pharos Lighthouse that was one of the seven wanders of the ancient world Then you will see the popular mosque named Al Musri Abu Alabbas mosque from outside. Then we will visit The Alexandrian Library from outside (was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world) . On our way back to Cairo you will the chance to enjoy Seafood Lunch with Panoramic Mediterranean Seaview

(You must let us know by the time we start our tour at the tunnels if you want to see the Alexandria Library or the Qaytbay Citadel from the inside. You might also miss the chance to see the other one from the outside. Plus, you'll have to pay for your own admission. The tour does not give you entry to these spots.)
